After Christmas shopping in Gilroy yielded nothing. In other news, I giggled because a Korean tour bus stopped at In-n-Out. I really wonder what’s worth seeing around the Gilroy area that a whole tour group stopped by.
Christmas Eve Fun

Breaks Don't Work
Crap, that five minute break to “cut my nails so it’s easier for me to type” became a thirty minute break spent watching the ballroom dance competition videos that my partner keeps uploading. He’s an MIT student right before finals, how does he have the time? :O

How sad is it that I procrastinated from working on my paper by buying a pricey!! MIT ballroom dance team jacket? Three cheers for retail therapy…

Ok, now I’m starting to feel stressed.
Happy Birthday to one of my dear roommates! :] We surprised her with a birthday cake and then had tons of fun playing mafia. She and I successfully eliminated everyone in the circle in the first round.
The roomies and I finally put our Christmas lights up :] The room is festive now! We also cut paper snowflakes that should be going up sometime soon.
First Fire Drill
E-gads, the fire alarm is so loud! I don’t think anyone could possibly sleep through that. The roomies and I were just sitting here working at our desks when the alarm began to blare along with flashing lights. All of us grabbed jackets and rushed down the stairs into the cold. The only thing good about having a fire drill right now is that it wasn’t at 2 am in the morning.
Back to Wellesley and back to work. I really want it to be December 18th already.

More Crazy Weather
I just took a break from working on my lab paper for an hour to walk around Lake Waban and enjoy the 70 degree weather. When it’s 2 am and I’m still not finished with my paper, I’ll remind myself that this was probably my last chance to enjoy good weather until April so it was worth it.
Pouring rain is the perfect accompaniment to the music I’m listening to as I’m writing this lab paper. Progress is painful and slow.
