Apparently there are tornado warnings for So-Cal. First snow and now this? California is getting crazy.
Junior Year Lit. Teacher: Wellesley has a Lake Tupelo right?
Me: No, it's called Lake Waban.
Junior Year Lit. Teacher: Hm, where did I get the name "Tupelo" then?
Me: It's an acapella group on campus. One of my friends is in it.
Junior Year Lit. Teacher: Oh yes! I remember singing a couple of concerts with them, back in the day.
My teacher graduated from Brown and sung in one of the only groups on campus at the time. I think it's cool that he was involved with something that is alive and well on the Wellesley campus today. Go Tupes!
Another Reason Wellesley Is Awesome
I asked my two science professors from my first semester for recommendation letters for summer research and they both replied back within the hour. In fact, one professor responded in less than 10 minutes!
Dexter (The Serial Killer, Not The Mad Scientist)
I have officially finished the entire four seasons of Dexter out so far. I started the series on Thanksgiving Day… I think I’ve officially failed my desire to not completely melt my brain during winter break.

1st Woman to Play For the Boston Blitz →
One thing I definitely love about Wellesley is all the amazing women. Anya is the first woman ever to play for the Boston Blitz, a chess team that competes nationally! Go Anya! I knew Anya was good at chess, but I never knew she was this kick-ass!
Today, I cleaned out my gmail inbox and old blog posts on the livejournal I now only use to read posts on communities. I feel refreshed.
Aw, I just saw a commercial for Cisco that had Ellen Page in it! :] Cisco Clean Access is now less annoying to me…
My arms and thighs are so sore from rock-climbing with a close friend today at Planet Granite! This is definitely a great alternative form of exercise for those who don’t like being stuck on the treadmill or lifting weights all the time. It’s definitely a lot harder than it looks.
