College: The Next Grand (Mis)Adventure

That’s my grandpa and dad in the picture there! My grandpa, as part of the Japanese army (this was during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan), was sent to ground zero of the Hiroshima site just hours after the bomb was dropped. He was younger than I am now! He was part of a group of Taiwanese men suing the Japanese government for not providing them with veteran’s healthcare that was provided to other soldiers who also provided relief in the aftermath.
