* saying nice to meet you is apparently slightly too cliche and saying that you had a good time implies that you want to repeat the meeting them part

  • Me: No... why?
  • Mom: It's a very interesting job... And Pippin's future check-ups would be free!

My mom, about 20 minutes before I called her to wish her a happy birthday. I did not forget! I sent her a card too but it didn’t reach her yet.

I like the slight guilt-trip she slides in there at the end. Well-played, Mom. Love you!
